One of today's most vocal supporters of public education, Diane Ravitch has offered assessments of public education for over 30 years. Ravitch is the author of 10 books on education, including her most recent work, The Death and Life of the Great American School System: How Testing and Choice are Undermining Education. Ravitch is currently Research Professor of Education at New York University and Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution. "A Conversation with Diane Ravitch" is an informal question & answer session that is free and open to the public.
