Hall Center For The Humanities

A Look at the Hall Center for the Humanities With Victor Bailey

New Generation Society of Lawrence (NGSL members only)

Thu., Nov. 13, 2008, 4:00pm - 5:30pm
Location: Hall Center for the Humanities, 900 Sunnyside Avenue
When Lyn Smith and Bob Mueller were discussing and planning for what eventually became the New Generation Society of Lawrence, they needed an organization for the administration of such an entity. They were directed to the Hall Center and Janet Crow, then acting executive director of the Center. The Hall Center had been looking for a link to a group in the community and New Generation seemed like the perfect fit. We entered into a partnership with the Hall Center and offered our first programs in the Fall of 1997. But what else does the Hall Center do? It has been a question asked many times by both long time and new members of New Generation. Come and find out from the Director, Victor Bailey, the history and purpose of the Hall Center, its uniqueness among colleges and universities, and how we fit in with their mission.

Where: Hall Center for the Humanities, 900 Sunnyside Avenue, parking in the lot

Time: 4:00 5:30 pm

Cost: $5.00
