In 2007, Eutin and Lawrence renewed their bond as sister cities amidst celebrations of Eutin's 750th anniversary. Visitors from Lawrence mingled with Eutin's citizens in a spirit of friendship, and Lawrence artist Jan Gaumnitz presented a sculpture to the city of Eutin.
