Internships in Germany

 

STUDENTS INTERESTED IN SUMMER 2010 INTERNSHIPS IN GERMANY MAY APPLY FOR POSITIONS IN THE FOLLOWING DISCIPLINES:

Journalism
Business Administration and Banking
Architecture
Electrical and Civil Engineering
Public Administration
Education

INTERNSHIPS WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 6 WEEKS IN LENGTH. THE FIRMS WILL PROVIDE OR ASSISST WITH HOUSING ARRANGEMENTS AND FURNISH A MODEST STIPEND. FUNDING MAY ALSO BE AVAILABLE TO COVER SOME TRAVEL COSTS.

Interns will enroll in a 3-credit hour course (GERM 462: “The German Business Environment”) that will meet during Spring 2010 to assist them in preparing for the internships.

Submit a statement of interest in an internship with a description of your career plans (1-2 pages in English) and a current resumé including all course work (with grades) and any relevant experience. Ability to communicate in German is required (300 level or above). Applicants will be interviewed in november.
