Research Interests and Current Projects

My research interests consist of 1) the human dimensions of coastal change; 2) community-based analysis of environmental and economic changes; and 3) integration of social and natural sciences in human-environment research. My current research projects include coastal vulnerabilities, coastal use change in East Asia and the U.S., and geography of innovation in green technologies.
