KU: Department of Geography

I always thought I would end up as a teacher of geography in a state university somewhere. It's amazing how a couple of twists of fate can affect your plans. Jump forward 35 years and I am now the leader of one of the largest aviation environmental planning practices in the world with experience in serving the noise and related concerns of more than 300 airports over the last 30 years. I'm looking forward to retirement in a few years, and have decided at this stage of my life to devote more time to passing on knowledge and street smarts than to making more money (although the money is nice too). I'm open to e-mails from any of the KU geography family and am more than willing to share what I have learned in my journey (unless of course, you work for a competitor).
