My degree in atmospheric science has been an invaluable tool in my career as a pilot. I flew helicopters in the United States Marine Corps, and am currently a helicopter pilot for LifeFlight Eagle in Kansas City, as well as a jet pilot for the Nebraska Air National Guard. I would eagerly answer any questions about the utility of an atmospheric science degree as applied to military or commercial aviation.
