After graduating from KU I became employed with the National Weather Service as a meteorologist intern, and served in that capacity in Longview, TX and Daytona Beach, FL. I was selected as a General Forecaster at Shreveport, LA in 1994, and was later promoted to Senior Forecaster. In 2002 I accepted the position of Information Technology Officer in Shreveport, and then transferred to Norman, OK in 2004 where I serve today.
