I used my B.S. in Atmospheric Science to eventually gain my commission into the Air Force as a Weather Officer. The first few years in the AF will give a new Weather Officer ample opportunity to hone a wide variety of forecasting and analysis skills as applied to military aviation. There is excellent opportunity for an advanced degree through the Air Force.
