KU: Department of Geography

Since 2003 I am a state liaison with 9 counties of southern Missouri - an area known as the Ozarks. After graduation I used my Geography and Political Science degrees in my duries as an Army officer in W. Germany. Since leaving the Army in 1974 I continue to analyze the relationship between land and people. I missed the birth and growth of the GIS phenoma of the 80's. I appreciate the power of this tool to revolutionize managing data every day and (in my job) during disasters. Keep up the good work KU Geography Department.
