I worked most closely with Pete Shortridge, Garth Myers, and Peter Herlihy while at KU, and benefitted immeasurably from their diverse perspectives and approaches to the field of geography. I found that the discipline allowed me to investigate a wide range of pressing social and environmental issues from a holistic perspective.
