Jared graduated from the University of Kansas in 2000 and proceeded to work in Longmont, CO at a satellite imaging private firm. While in Colorado, he also contracted with a few other businesses working with Russian satellite systems, performing flood plain mapping analysis and LIDAR systems. Moving back to his hometown of Kansas City, Jared began working at a local, top three, telecom company creating their first enterprise GIS system for retail, environmental health and safety, capacity planning, RF engineering and business development. This work helped introduce two new patents for the organization resulting in a unique process for creating retail trade area analysis.
Currently Jared works in Overland Park, KS as the Geospatial Product Manager for Billsoft, Inc. He resides in Lees Summit, MO with his wife and three boys and enjoys coaching sports, vacationing with his family and being on the lake.
