Placement and Proficiency Exams in French

Prior to enrolling in French classes, students should take the French Language Placement Exam in EGARC (Ermal Garinger Academic Resource Center), 4069 Wescoe Hall. After receiving their scores, students should meet with Professor Kim Swanson (kswanson@ku.edu), to discuss appropriate placement.

Students needing proficiency examinations for study abroad programs, the Dean’s Certificate in International Business, or graduate school requirements should also contact Professor Swanson, 2060 Wescoe, to arrange for the necessary testing.
