The University of Kansas Talent Search Program is a free program available for middle and high school students who are interested in reaching their academic and career goals.

Our History
Educational Talent Search is a free outreach program sponsored by the University of Kansas through a federally funded grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Through early intervention, this program is designed to encourage participants to remain in school, graduate from high school, and to pursue post-secondary education. Talent Search works with residents of Wyandotte County.

To meet our goals and yours, Talent Search encourages students to attend workshops held in the middle schools and high schools (USD 500) as well as community agencies. Workshops, campus visits, tutoring, financial aid information and scholarship searches are part of the academic year program. Our summer is exciting and fun, too! We offer campus visits, academic enrichment workshops, tutoring, and other summer programs.
