McNair Scholars Program assists
low-income, first-generation and underrepresented minority undergraduates
to prepare for doctoral study. Students who participate in this program
are provided with paid research opportunities, faculty mentors, a GRE
preparation course, and tutoring.
Supportive Educational Services provides academic support services to eligible college students, including tutoring assistance for course work and basic skills instruction in subjects
like reading, writing, math and science. Other services include counseling,
financial aid assistance, and graduate school and career planning.
