GEAR UP

The University of Kansas School of Education GEAR UP Programs are federally funded programs whose mission is to greatly increase the Classes of 2008 and 2011 participation in undergraduate programs.  We are currently serving the junior classes at J.C. Harmon and F. L. Schlagle High Schools and the eighth grade classes at Arrowhead and Eisenhower Middle Schools in the Kansas City Kansas School District.  Our objectives lead us to create and develop programming that will academically and financially prepare our student cohorts for postsecondary education.
