Who should apply for the Math & Science Center
program?
- Students who reside in one of the following Kansas
counties: Douglas, Shawnee, or Wyandotte.
- Students who attend or will attend one of the following
high schools: J.C. Harmon HS, Washington HS, Lawrence HS,
Topeka HS, Hope Street Academy.
- Students who meet the U.S. Department of Education
family income guidelines
OR will be the first in their family to
graduate college (Students who are unsure are encouraged to
apply).
- Students who have finished 8th grade but have not yet
started 12th grade.
- Students who are U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents.
- Students who exhibit academic potential and desire a
college education.
Students who meet the above qualifications are encouraged to
fill out an application.
