Installing Multilanguage Support

You must install Multilanguage support in Windows 95, 98 and 2000 if you want to install keyboards for any of the following languages:

  • Albanian
  • Bulgarian
  • Belarusian
  • Czech
  • Estonian
  • Greek
  • Hungarian
  • Latvian
  • Lithuanian
  • Polish
  • Romanian
  • Russian
  • Serbian
  • Slovak
  • Slovenian
  • Turkish
  • Ukranian

Open Control Panel
Click the START button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen.  When the Start Menu pops up, move your cursor up to "Settings" and then over to "Control Panel". Click to open the Control Panel window.

Windows Setup Tab

When the Add/Remove Programs Properties control panel opens, select the "Windows Setup" tab.From that tab, scroll down and check the "MultiLanguage Support" box. By default the installer selects al of the languages listed in the Description box. If you wish to install only selected items, click "Details" and you can deselect those which you do not want. When you are finished, click OK.


Once you have clicked OK, you will then be prompted to insert your Windows 95/98 installation CD. Simply insert it into the CD drive and click OK. The installer will find the files it needs on its own.

When the installer has finished copying the necessary files from the CD, you will be prompted to restart your computer. Click restart and when your computer reboots, follow the instructions on the preceding page for installing keyboards.
