The Ermal Garinger Academic Resource Center is an academic unit within the Humanities division of the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences. Our mission is to promote the learning and teaching of languages, cultures and humanities at the University of Kansas through the use of technology and other instructional media. In addition to housing a collection of approximately 15,000 audio and video items, the Center contains three computer labs, a media-enhanced conference room, and a soundproofed recording studio. We provide instructors with access to and training in new instructional technologies and support grant and research projects focusing on languages, cultures and the role of technology in the classroom.
EGARC Announcements
Starting Fall 2008 EGARC will be moving to the CS Print System currently in use in the public computing labs and libraries across the KU campus. CS Print is directly tied into the KU Card system and enables students to print using Beak 'Em Bucks funds on their KU Cards. At the start of each semester all enrolled students are supplied with $8.00 worth of free printing on their KU Cards. For more information on printing, as well as steps to adding money to your KU Card, please see the Information Technology Printing webpage.
Printing at EGARC costs $.08 per page, with double-sided print jobs counting as a single page. Still have an EGARC printcard? Rest assured that it is still valid. Ask at the front desk in 4070 for details.
