Our programs are flexible units for the establishment of graduate curricula, faculty recruitment, and intellectual development. The interests of many faculty members overlap program boundaries. the programs help graduate applicants identify potential advisors. Dissertation committees often are composed of faculty members from multiple programs and departments.
