Information about this award can be obtained from the following website: http://www.apa.org/science/travinfo.html.
Materials must be submitted by April 1, 2008.
SPP Student Travel Award
The SPP Student Travel Awards are available for students who are members of the Society of Pediatric Psychology and who are first author of a poster or paper to be presented during our Division programming at the APA Convention or at any Division 54 sponsored regional or national meeting. Only current graduate students (not postdocs) are eligible for these awards. Four awards, each for $500, will be awarded to help offset costs of travel. To apply, please submit the following to Dr. Tonya Palermo by January 15: (1) curriculum vitae; (2) copy of your original proposal submitted to Division 54; and (3) a cover letter confirming your membership status in Division 54 (Society of Pediatric Psychology) and outlining any other sources of travel funding for your convention participation.
SPP Student Poster Award
Division 54 is also again sponsoring a Student Poster Award competition. Students who are members of the Society of Pediatric Psychology and who are first author of aposter to be presented during our Division poster session at the APA Convention are eligible. If you are a student author, please forward an up-to-date version of the poster abstract to Dr. Tonya Palermo by July 15th, 2008.
Three winners of the Student Poster Award will be acknowledged at the convention with a blue ribbon on their poster during the session and will receive a prize of $50.
