Dietetic Internship Graduate Certificate

The Dietetic Internship program prepares graduates for entry into careers as registered dietitians. Students must have completed a baccalaureate degree from an accredited university or college and complete course work approved by the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education of the American Dietetic Association. Successful completion of the internship allows the student to take the registration examination to acquire the RD credential and enter the profession as a Registered Dietitian.

Certificate Requirements

This graduate certificate program has a nutrition therapy emphasis and includes 1,240 hours of supervised practice experience. Rotations for clinical education are available in community nutrition, systems management, clinical nutrition, and a practice area of interest designed by the student to meet personal learning and educational goals.
