Why study the humanities and western civilization?

Because integrated learning in the humanities fosters broad cultural understanding by exploring the connections among diverse areas of knowledge.

Courses for Nonmajors

All HWC courses are open to nonmajors. HWC 110, HWC 304, HWC 308, HWC 312, and HWC 430 are recommended to nonmajors for fulfilling the humanities principal course requirement.
