IST 701: Managerial Information Systems (2)

This course provides a broad, managerial level introduction to fundamental information technology concepts and terminology and the application of those concepts in business organizations. It addresses a variety of topics including: the Internet, intranets, and extranets; relational database theory; hardware, software, and networking concepts; the system development life cycle, project management; eBusiness/eCommerce; knowledge management; enterprise resource planning; ethical considerations related to information technology advances; and organizational considerations related to information systems.
