DSCI 305: Survey of Decision Making in Business (3)

An introduction to decision making under the uncertainty encountered in business and in everyday life. Covers selected topics in probability, statistics, economics, and operations research, and their application to complex problems in financial management, marketing, operations management, supply chain management, and quality management; as well as risks affecting everyday life, such as personal decisions in regard to career, marriage, and wealth management. (Not open to students with credit in SCM 310.) Prerequisite: ENGL 101 and MATH 101. LEC
