ANTH 670: Contemporary American Culture (3)

An anthropological investigation, in seminar format, of the social consequences of transformations in today's society. Specific topics may include: the information explosion; developments in science and technology; genetics and assisted reproduction; ethnic and cultural diversity; and changing views of the normal and abnormal, sexual and other forms of relationships, and of the self.
