FIN 420: International Finance (3)

The economic determinants of exchange rates are discussed. This is followed by an examination of the financing problems faced by the multinational corporation and the international portfolio manager, arising from the international nature of their environment. Topics include spot, forward, futures, and options markets in foreign currency, international risk management, purchasing power parity, interest rate parity, covered interest arbitrage, and contemporary issues in international financial management.
