D.E. Degree Requirements

Requirements for the Doctor of Engineering degree with a major in civil engineering are in accordance with the requirements of Graduate Studies and the School of Engineering. A Plan of Study must be approved by the student’s major professor and examining committee and the departmental graduate studies committee.

Before being admitted to the comprehensive examination, the aspirant must satisfy the department’s responsible scholarship requirements.

All graduate students must have an approved Plan of Study on file by the beginning of their second semester of study.
