Requirements for the B.A. or B.G.S. Major

B.A. or B.G.S. Major in Developmental Psychology, KU Edwards Campus

This degree offers training in the science of human development across the life span. The curriculum includes core courses in statistics, research methods, and cognitive and social development. Required Courses 34 hours

A total of 34 hours is required.

Elective Courses 6 hours
  • Any 6 hours of psychology courses numbered higher than 300 meet the elective course requirement.

*No more than 3 credit hours of PSYC 480 Independent Study, PSYC 481 Research Practicum, or PSYC 483 Undergraduate Internship in Psychology may be counted toward the 34-hour major requirement. (No more than a 6-hour combination of these courses may be counted toward the major.)
