  • U.S. News: Occupational therapy graduate program No. 2 among public schools; 4 other programs in top 25

    KU’s master’s and doctoral degrees in occupational therapy rank No. 5 among public and private schools combined, according to U.S. News and World Report. They are tied for No. 2 among public university programs, U.S. News said.

    Four other allied health graduate programs were ranked in the top 25 among public universities.

    The ranked programs are

    • Audiology (joint doctoral program with KU College of Liberal Arts and Sciences)
    • Nurse anesthesia master’s
    • Occupational therapy master’s and doctorate
    • Physical therapy doctorate
    • Speech-language-pathology (joint master’s program with KU College of Liberal Arts and Sciences)

    Twenty-eight KU programs rank in the top 30 spots among public universities nationwide, and KU's special education program continues to rank first among special education programs, according to U.S. News and World Report.
