Undergraduate Advising

Students admitted to the B.F.A. degree program are advised during the Basic Design Studies studios for their first two semesters by departmental academic advisers. After a student has completed the 9 hours of Basic Design Studies courses, he or she is advised and mentored by faculty members in the major field.

Check sheets describing each program in detail are available from the main design office, 205 Marvin Hall, 785-864-2959. Students are encouraged to seek advice from any faculty member in a specific area of interest.
