Career Opportunities

Career opportunities are available in health care facilities, business organizations, industry, research, government agencies, and educational settings.

Graduates are eligible to take the registry examination of the American Health Information Management Association. Passing this examination certifies the individual as a professional health information manager and permits the use of the Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential.
