Allison Gile
Hello! My name is Allison Gile and I have been in the interpreting field for 17 years and thoroughly enjoy my work. Interpreting has allowed me to interpret in places I would have never thought possible, such as on large venue concert stages, in the doctor's office, the courtroom, and even under houses and cars. I love my job because it is so diverse!
Because interpreting demands a very broad scope of knowledge, I am currently working on obtaining my four-year degree from KU in Communications.
In my "free time", I can be found serving as the Bylaws chair for our local affiliate chapter of the national organization of interpreters, spending time in my garden, camping with my husband and two boys, serving as the leader for my youngest son's cub scout den, taking pictures, remodeling our house, and reading novels.
