Membership Information

DUES: Central Slavic Conference has never assessed dues (although the Executive Committee is currently debating the formal assessment of dues).

MEMBERSHIP: Central Slavic Conference has never had formal membership. CSC was formed originally as an academic venue for scholars, teachers, and students from Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Oklahoma, and holds its annual meetings under the sponsorship of academic institutions in those states. Traditionally, anyone who attends a meeting is considered a "member" for the purpose of conference registration and body count.

CSC welcomes scholars from contiguous states, the nation, and the world at its meetings each year and encourages the participation of all interested scholars: affiliated, non-traditional, independent, junior, and senior. Graduate students ("colleagues-in-the-making") are particularly welcome.
