Communication Studies Major

1. Completion of COMS 130 or 230 or a waiver (see below).
   COMS majors should NOT take COMS 150.


2. An additional 30 hours of course work that satisfy a, b, c, and d below.

4. Electives:

   12 hours of COMS electives (200 level or above and/or COMS 104)

*Waivers of the COMS 130 requirement are available for students who have completed at least two semesters of speech or debate in high school. Link to the Coms 130 Exemption page for more information.
