When Should I apply for graduation?

Students should apply for graduation the semester before they plan to graduate

What are the steps I need to take in order to apply for graduation?

  1. Enroll in your classes for your last semester at KU!
  2. AFTER you are enrolled in classes for your final semester, contact the departmental Advising Specialist, Amber Blackmore, at ambercb@ku.edu, to schedule an appointment.
  3. Meet with Ms. Blackmore to receive the necessary paperwork to apply for graduation.
  4. Take the Major Certification Sheet, along with an attached ARTS form, to a Communication Studies faculty member for a signature.
  5. Turn in all paperwork to 109 Strong.
  6. Log on to Enroll&Pay and Apply for Graduation!
