Graduate students within the program have the opportunity to explore a wide range of clinical and research opportunities. While each student identifies a primary research advisor with whom they complete thesis, task, and dissertation requirements, many students also explore additional projects and collaborate with more than one faculty member on research, clinical, and funded positions. Follow this link to view the professional interests and access the email addresses of several current students.
Student Presentations and PublicationsOverall, CCPP graduate students possess an excellent publication record. Students are encouraged to publish Thesis, Task, and Dissertation results as well as pursue additional projects with faculty and other students if desired. Many students publish with faculty outside their specific research team, in addition to publishing with their advisors. Inclusion of students in presentations and publications, remains a top priority for faculty. A representative list of student publications can be found here.

As evidence of the highly collegial atmosphere maintained with the KU Clinical Child Psychology Program, a student representative is elected each fall to attend weekly faculty meetings along with the core faculty. This representative voices student opinions on proposed changes to program policies, raises student concerns when necessary, and provides periodic updates to the student body regarding program news.
Graduate Student Organization
Additional interests of students within the program include leadership roles on national professional committees (i.e. CUDCP, Society of Pediatric Psychology) and leisure activities (i.e. co-ed recreational softball) within the community. The Links page contains more information about local events and recreational activities.
