Heidi joined The College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Student Academic Services Office in March 2007.  In addition to her duties as advising specialist she is the CLAS and School of the Arts Outreach liaison to the KU Office of Admissions and advisor to the KU Student Senate Elections Commission.  Before coming to KU, she was an academic advisor, admissions counselor, and community education director at the community college level.  She also taught English in Japan and worked in politics in Washington, D.C.  She has been a Kansas Health Foundation Master Facilitator since 2002.  Heidi holds a B.S. in Psychology from Baker University and M.S. in Counselor Education from Emporia State University.  She is currently in the University of Kansas Educational Leadership and Policy Studies Higher Education Administration PhD program.
