Minors and their Requirements

Applied Behavioral Science

A minimum of 18 credit hours of ABSC courses, including 3 hours chosen from ABSC 100/101, ABSC 140, ABSC 150/151 or ABSC 160 and a minimum of 12 credit hours numbered 300 and above.

  • A minimum of a 2.0 KU GPA in all ABSC courses.
  • Cross-listed courses my not be used for a major and a minor.

 

Dance

 

The minor in Dance requires 24 credit hours with a minimum of 12 credit hours at the junior-senior level (numbered 300 and above).

East Asian Languages and Cultures with an emphasis in East Asian Area Studies

  • Completion of the B.A. language requirement in Chinese, Japanese, or Korean.
  • 18 credit hours, including a minimum of 12 credit hours at the junior/senior level (courses numbered 300 and above) including the following:
    • For the Chinese empahsis, EALC/HIST 585 and EALC/HIST 586
    • For the Japanese empahsis, EALC/HIST 585 and EALC/HIST 586
    • For the Korean empahsis, EALC 590, Topics in Korean Culture, which can be taken twice under two different topics; consult with the advisor.

Geography
