The Mathematics Department has set aside the dates of March 30 through April 10 for advising students interested in majoring in mathematics. Students will need to sign up for an advising time at least two days before the date they want to see an advisor. Advising appointments are made online at https://www.math.ku.edu/advising . (NOTE: This website will not be available until Monday March 30.)

Before coming to your advising appointment, complete the Faculty Advising Preparation Form

Please bring your ARTS form to your advising appointment. If you have not declared a major, bring your Majors Declaration form. If you are ready to graduate bring your Major Certification form.

There are four types of advising enrollment holds: First Advising Hold, First Advising Hold for 90+ hours, Non-declared major, and Non-declared 60+ hours. Looking at Enroll and Pay can identify if you have any holds. Holds will need to be removed by the University Advising Center or CLAS Student Academic Services.

It is recommended that you schedule your advising appointment at least two days before your enrollment date.

Our web site has a wealth of information about our undergraduate program. You can find the requirements for the BA and BS degrees and under Course Information you can find the frequency of when our math courses are offered.
