MAIN ENROLLMENT ADVISING APPOINTMENT DATES
OCTOBER 20 – NOVEMBER 14, 2008

• You must be aware that the dates mentioned above are the main enrollment advising appointment dates at the Center of Latin American Studies. You will need to call the office for an appointment with Professor Anita Herzfeld. The number to call is 864-4213.

• On Monday, October 13th on from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. you can start calling the office to make appointments.

• Appointments will be made for Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. as of October 20th. Should you not be able to meet during those periods, you will need to ask for a special appointment at a different time and we will try our best to accommodate you.

• IMPORTANT: You must bring your latest ARTS form with you to the advising session.

• TENTATIVE BEGINNING DATES FOR OFFICIAL ENROLLMENT:

SENIORS: OCTOBER 28
JUNIORS: OCTOBER 31
SOPHOMORES: NOVEMBER 5
FRESHMEN: NOVEMBER 11
NON-DEGREE: NOVEMBER 17

• Note that the advising system has changed. There are four types of advising enrollment holds being placed to implement this new system: First Advising Hold (FAH); First Advising Hold for 90+hours Students (FA9); Non-declared (NDC), and Non-declared 60+hours Students (ND6).

• If you have any other kind of holds, you must get them cleared before you can enroll. Looking at Enroll and Pay or through your Kyou portal in the Advising tab you can identify if you have any holds.
