Requirements for Proposing a New Minor in the College:
- Minors must consist of a minimum of 18 credit hours.
- Twelve (12) of the credit hours completed for the minor must be taken at the junior/senior level (numbered 300 and above).

- Courses cross-listed between the minor and the major may be used in one or the other, but not both, except as noted above, with the approval of both departments or programs.
- Students may not be awarded a minor unless they have completed at least one course for the minor after the date the minor received final approval of College Assembly.
- Minors will appear on the transcript but not the diploma.
