Candidates slightly deficient in the stated requirements may be admitted probationally. Incoming students are also encouraged to complete course work in the history, archaeology, and philosophy of ancient Greece and Rome before entering the program.
New: There is no deadline for applications to the M.A. program, but those received by *February 1* (for fall enrollment) will receive fullest consideration. For January enrollment, applications received by October 25 will receive fullest consideration. See the above link for details regarding Graduate Teaching Assistantships and other available funding.
