Research Interests: Understanding how children build a lexicon by examining the acquisition, organization, and processing of novel and known words. Current research projects include: -
identifying the processes underlying learning of the sound form of new words and describing the structure of word representations in typically-developing preschool children;

documenting the influence of phonological development on word learning and representations in preschool children with either normal or delayed phonological development;

describing the structure of word representations in children with a Specific Language Impairment.
