Research Interests: Delineating the neural structures and systems involved in mammalian learning and memory. We use a variety of neuroscience techniques including electrophysiology, neuroanatomy, and neuropharmacology to study the involvement of the brain in the acquisition and performance of simple learning and memory paradigms.
Much of our research involves use of the classical eyeblink conditioning preparation in rats and rabbits. We are studying the involvement of the cerebellum in eyeblink conditioning. |
