Research Interests: The relationship between oral and written language development/disorders, with special emphasis on reading disabilities in school-age children. Phonology and its association to written word recognition. Literacy instruction for adults. The relationship between lexical representations and phonological awareness in preschool children. The semantic processing abilities of children with difficulties in the area of reading comprehension.
