How to force an assumed grade
For advising purposes, it is helpful to force an assumed grade for a semester in determining academic progress. For instance, if a student is enrolled in the current term and grades have not been posted, an advisor may force a grade point average for that term into ARTS calculations. Follow these steps:
- At the ARTS Form Generation screen, after the listed term, type in a colon followed by the assumed grade for that term in the view box on the middle right hand side of the screen. The new GPA Calculations will appear in the transcript information at the bottom of the ARTS Form.
Also, "ASSUMED GPA 'A' FOR TERM 4019" will appear in the advisor's notes section for an assumed grade of A for the Fall of 2001.
