Treat Majors as Degrees in Map (M)

This option tells the ARTS system to treat major codes as degree codes in SRIS. Major and degree codes have separate entries in a degree map. Major codes differ from degree codes in that they have a letter designation at the beginning (typically an "A") whereas degree have a zero (0). For example, A163 is the major code for a Cellular Biology degree, and 0163 is the degree code. This flag relieves the user from the burden of having to have entries in the degree map for all the possible codes and instead can only specify the degree codes in the map. When this flag is encountered, ARTS will convert the major code to a degree code and then look the code up in the map.
