Alcohol Information for Parents
Current research shows that parents continue to be an important influence on college students' choices, including the choices they make about alcohol and other drug use. Rather than stigmatize alcohol use, parents need to recognize that it is the abuse of alcohol that is the true issue. Talk to your student about your expectations and the negative consequences of underage drinking and binge drinking. The sad fact is that drinking too much alcohol can kill you.
