Video Library
Since 1970, our Department has collected films and videos on Africa and the African Diaspora. Formerly housed in our Department and in the office of Instructional Development Services (IDS), the collection is now kept in the Ermal Garinger Academic Resource Center (formerly called The Language Lab) in Wescoe Hall. Our Department is in the process of copying old film reels into VHS for easier access and handling. The video and film resources are available to all, but students and the general public require the sponsor of a teaching staff member or the Secretary of the Department to check them out from the Ermal Garinger video and film library.
